How to reach Valle Camonica:
* from SOUTH
A4 motorway exit Bs or Bg- direction Lake Iseo SS 42
* from NORTH-EAST
A22 motorway, San Michele all’Adige exit SS 43 and then SS 42 towards Passo Tonale
* from NORTH-WEST
From Lake Como SS 38 towards Sondrio, in the locality of Tresenda deviation to the right towards Aprica
* From LAKE ISEO
SS 42 fast flowing. Capodiponte exit, then turn right towards CIMBERGO
To get to the town: Cimbergo
With own car: A4 exit Brescia. Continue on the SS 42 of Tonale and Mendola (the new fast-flowing variant) for about an hour; Capodiponte exit (Unesco archaeological site) .Take right for Cimbergo. Continue for 5/10 minutes.
By train from Bs: Ceto-Cerveno station; bus, whose departure coincides with the arrival of each train, for Cimbergo.
Capodiponte station; on foot, follow the “Antonioli” path, displayed with white and yellow signs.
Approach hiking itinerary
In Cimbergo: hairpin bend at the top of the village on the right, follow the signs for “Volano”; mule track accessible by off-road vehicles and 4×4 cars (30 ‘) or on foot (1:30’); possibility of reaching small car parks about twenty minutes from the refuge with a normal car; dirt road with mixed cobblestone and asphalt.
